摘要: The microbial mineralization of phenol and three chlorinated phenols (3,4-dichlorophenol, 2,4,5-trichlorophenol pentachlorophenol) in the water column 23 pristine, oligotrophic lakes different humic content was investigated. During short-term (∼2 d) situ incubations samples amended with 14C-labeled phenolic compounds, fraction added pollutant mineralized to 14CO2 positively correlated color (an estimate content) total organic carbon concentration water. rate per bacterial cell not content, due increased abundance increasing content. Hence, higher than clear-water probably a result rather being an effect cells having potential for degradation such compounds.
