摘要: Abstract This paper investigates the feasibility of dyeing cotton fibers with solution extracted from date pits which are abundant vegetal material. The extraction step and its optimization were conducted in first part this paper. second studies influence main conditions on color yield K/S CIELab coordinates. studied parameters pH dye bath, temperature duration dyeing. Experiments carried out using Box-Behnken experimental design to be able analyze effects each parameter, detect interactions between these deduce optimum for process. fastness properties dyed samples also evaluated. Obtained results indicate interesting sweat, washing rubbing range 4–5. Three metallic mordants (Alun, ZnSO4 CuSO4) three biological (gall nuts, chlorophyll (a) green almond shell) used improve degree absorption as well fabrics aqueous extract pits. obtained showed high improvement (sweat, friction, light fastness) than ones.
