摘要: Ki-67 is a proliferation marker that often used to estimate the growth fraction of tumors and other tissues. This antigen expressed during all phases cell cycle but not in quiescent G0 cells. Many studies fail indicate can be even when DNA synthesis blocked. We studied expression cycle-arrested osteosarcoma found these cells are positive for they arrested G1/S or G2/M by using synchronizing inhibitors, inducing p21(Waf1/Cip1) tetracycline-regulated system wild type p53 p21 after inflicting damage. Our results show containing actively proliferating we advise against use on overexpress p21.
