摘要: In a recent article in Trends Ecology and Evolution, Fitzherbert et al. [1] discuss the exponential expansion of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) agriculture. The sounds warning call about potential impacts on tropical forests biodiversity, particularly Malaysia Indonesia; this concern is shared by many environmentalists concerned scientists [2,3]. However, spite efforts conservationists to curtail deforestation due palm, global market for continues expand.
