摘要: Adults with HIV are at risk for deficits in speed of processing that can interfere performing instrumental activities daily living. In this pilot study, 46 middle-age and older adults were assigned to 10 hours computerized training (n = 22) or a no-contact control condition 24). ANCOVAs used examine treatment effects on neurocognitive battery the Timed Instrumental Activities Daily Living (TIADL) Test. Treatment detected Useful Field View Test, F(1, 43) 4.29, p .04 TIADL 5.02, .03; those experimental improved these measures. Many participants also indicated they felt their cognitive functioning. This study demonstrated may improve everyday functioning growing population.
