摘要: Pultruded glass fibre reinforced polymer (GFRP) profiles are finding increasing applications in civil engineering structures, owing to the several advantages they offer over traditional materials. However, due combustible nature of their matrix, there well-founded concerns about behaviour at elevated temperature and under exposure fire. These hindering widespread acceptance GFRP profiles, particularly buildings, which need comply with relatively strict requirements terms fire reaction resistance behaviour. This paper presents a review performance pultruded profiles. It first addresses effect on thermophysical thermomechanical properties material. Then effects different protection measures those discussed. Next comes section reviewing previous experimental modelling studies types structural members. The final part provides summary design guidance set out most relevant guidelines codes applicable structures. pertinent research needs for various aspects addressed also identified.
