Performance Improvement of the LM Device and Its Application to Precise Measurement of Motion Trajectories within a Small Range with a Machining Centre

摘要: In order to apply the LM device previously developed precisely measuring small motion trajectories located on different planes, three major improvements are successfully performed under condition of completely maintaining advantages device. These include 1) development a novel connection mechanism smoothly attach spindle machining centre; 2) employment new data sampling method achieve high frequency independent operating system control computer; and 3) proposal set-up conveniently install test centre with respect planes. Practical measurement experiment results improved sufficiently demonstrate effectiveness confirm several features including very good response displacement close resolution device, precision, repeatability reliance. Moreover, based for number wide range conditions, error characteristics size motions systematically discussed effect movement feed rate accuracy is verified tested.
