摘要: Those who believe that electric appliances trigger adverse symptoms have coined the label hypersensitivity to electricity. Scientific research has not been able identify a direct link between electromagnetic fields and symptoms, no diagnostic criteria exist. Groups with reported are very heterogeneous. A need exists for an operational working definition improved characterization of groups. We report investigation risk indicators associated electricity-based on survey at high-technology, multinational telecommunications corporation. Comparisons also made patients referred university department occupational environmental health. No association was found specific psychosocial work characteristics nor personal traits present skin neurovegetative symptom indices. Results indicate skin, characterize syndrome, least during first years illness. For characterization, we propose set dimensions, including triggering factors, behavior, duration symptoms.
