摘要: Imaging has emerged as a key tool for ophthalmologists to quickly and accurately diagnose help manage ophthalmic conditions. The importance of useful teleimaging technology will increase remote appointments surveillance becomes more widely utilized in ophthalmology. This review article describes the current state imaging including results many “store forward” studies. It also summarizes potential emerging modalities such home optical coherence tomography, slit lamps, smartphone imaging. While published studies highlight possible utilities teleimaging, further clinical validation improvement need occur before can become ubiquitous.
