摘要: Participatory approaches and computerised tools such as decision support systems (DSS) represent conflicting tendencies in state-of the-art sustainable forest management. As a result, there may be considerable tension between these two developments practice. The objective of this paper is to explore how participatory DSS could brought together improve planning processes adapted their use or combined with other enable successful planning. From review the literature, we identified criteria related criteria, selected those can influence created short list that used evaluate where are applied. evaluation particular relevance for follows: fairness, opportunity outcome, quality selection information, cost-effectiveness, challenging status quo fostering creative thinking, structured decision-making process, transparency, independence neutrality process. We also scrutinised existing features address criteria. group support, possibilities include values than timber production, flexibility system non-traditional data management options, multi-criteria analysis tools. argue should assessed clarify, it specific situation complemented available non-computerised
