摘要: The present work has characterized the debris generated during dry sliding wear of Al-Si alloys against M2 steel and shown formation an intermetallic iron-aluminum compound in alloy using XRD analyses. It also been that iron and/or more silicon dissolved into {alpha}-Al as lattice parameter decreased load was increased. is therefore suggested surface layer from which contained compound. intermetallics confirmed high purity aluminum inert atmosphere.
