摘要: Abstract The effect of heat treatment on the filiform corrosion (FFC) susceptibility rolled aluminium alloy AA3005 at temperatures in range 150–500°C is investigated. A drastic loss resistance takes place as a result annealing excess 350°C. TEM investigations revealed highly deformed near-surface region, approximately 1 μm thick, as-received material. presence this surface layer caused by shear deformation region during rolling. enhanced undergone promotes secondary intermetallic precipitation subsequent treatment. resulting microstructure, where contains higher density fine particles and lower solid solution levels more noble alloying elements than underlying bulk, results preferential attack processes identified main cause observed FFC resistance.
