摘要: Nicotiana benthamiana was transformed with the nucleoprotein (N) gene of an Italian isolate tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). Forty-five T1 primary transformant lines were analyzed for expression N protein and resistance to TSWV three other tospoviruses: impatiens necrotic spot (INSV), groundnut bud necrosis (GBNV), ringspot (GRSV). Thirteen these further characterized. Resistance all isolates tested found in two lines. The transgene (N mRNA) lower resistant than any susceptible lines, either absent or present below detectable levels. These tospoviruses tested, but they developed symptoms milder controls when inoculated GRSV. Some producing high levels showed delays (of 2-3 weeks) symptom at least one delay attenuation INSV GRSV (or both). From our results it appears that retards, some cases, disease development by INSV. In contrast, lack transgenic protein, accompanied limited production transcripts, conferred TSWV-specific resistance.
