Thermoluminescence kinetic features of Lithium Iodide (LiI) single crystal grown by vertical Bridgman technique

摘要: Abstract Single crystal of pure Lithium Iodide (LiI) has been grown from melt by using the vertical Bridgman technique. Thermoluminescence (TL) Measurements were carried out at 1 K/s following X-ray irradiation. The TL glow curve consists a dominant peak (peak-maximum Tm) 393 K and one low temperature weaker intensity 343 K. order kinetics (b), activation energy (E), frequency factor (S) for prominent observed around LiI crystals are reported first time. shape analysis indicates to be order. value E is calculated various standard methods such as initial rise (IR), whole (WGP), (PS), computerized deconvolution (CGCD) Variable Heating rate (VHR) methods. An average 1.06 eV obtained in this case. In validate parameters, numerically integrated generated experimentally determined kinetic parameters. effective atomic number (Zeff) material was found 52. induced emission spectra single studied room it that sample exhibit sharp 457 nm broad 650 nm.
