Normative Nasalance Scores for Brazilian Portuguese Using New Speech Stimuli.

摘要: Objective: Normative data were established for newly developed speech materials nasalance assessment in Brazilian Portuguese. Materials and Methods: Nasalance scores of preexisting passages (oral ZOO-BR, low-pressure oral ZOO-BR2 NASAL-BR), new Dudu no zoologico, bosque, oral-nasal O caozinho Toto nasal nene) Brasilcleft articulation screening sentences collected from 245 speakers Portuguese, including 121 males 124 females, divided into 4 groups: children (5-9 years), adolescents (10-19 young adults (20-24 years) (25-35 years). Results: Across all passages, adult females scored on average 2 percentage points higher than males. Children 2-4 lower older groups the ZOO-BR ZOO-BR2. not significantly different passages. Scores high-pressure did differ passage bosque. Conclusion: The equivalent to materials. shortened simplified will be useful assessing children.
