摘要: The biosynthetic precursor of all the steroids is cholesterol. Cholesterol derived from diet, as well being synthesized by tissues, but particularly liver and steroid-producing organs (the adrenal glands gonads). first step in steroid-hormone synthesis cholesterol side-chain cleavage. It occurs within mitochondria involves an initial hydroxylation to form a 20,22-dihydroxycholesterol, followed splitting off six-carbon fragment, yielding pregnenolone isocaproic aldehyde. In case bile acids, 7-alpha steroid nucleus, which microsomal compartment liver, shortening oxidation carboxyl group at position 24 side chain, with release three-carbon fragment hydroxycholane mitochondrin.
