摘要: A frequent consequence of traumatic brain injury (TBI) is cognitive impairment, which results in significant disruption an individual's everyday living. To date, most clinical rehabilitation interventions still rely on behavioral observation, with little or no quantitative information about physiological changes produced at the level. Functional imaging has been extensively used study impairments following TBI. However, its applications to have limited. This due part expensive invasive nature these modalities. The objective this apply functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIR) assessment attention fNIR provides a localized measure prefrontal hemodynamic activation, susceptible TBI, and it does so noninvasive, affordable wearable way, thus partially overcoming limitations other Participants included 5 TBI subjects 11 healthy controls....
