摘要: Age and growth estimates for the smooth skate, Malacoraja senta, were derived from 306 vertebral centra skates caught in North Atlantic off coast of New Hampshire Massachusetts, USA. Males females aged to 15 14 years, respectively. Male female diverged at both ends data range sexes required different functions describe them. followed a traditional scenario best described by von Bertalanffy curve with set L o (11 cm TL) where inf = 75.4 TL, K 0.12. Females use back-calculated values account lack small individuals, using these they parameters length-at-age are 69.6 0.12, 10.
