摘要: Abstract Besides being a versatile mineral resource, quartz is also common gangue in separation. The separation and enrichment of minerals are particularly important industrial production. Cationic surfactants dodecylamine (DDA) mainly used as collector the flotation it consists hydrophilic amino group which attach to surface, hydrophobic carbon-chain groups make hydrophobic. So adsorption behaviour DDA vital flotation. In this paper, we examine an ultrasonic method for enhancing froth quartz. mechanism onto systematically investigated via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) measurements, heat amount tests, contact angle analysis, induction time X-ray photoelectron (XPS) analysis. Our results indicate that ultrasonication does not change functional DDA, however, intensity with −26.56 J/g between ultrasonically treated fairly large. significantly increases after without increasing its concentration, maximum particles conditioning by increase from 53.07° (for untreated DDA) 66.13° at concentration 8 × 10−5 mol/L. bubble attachment observed decrease 30 ms 20 ms compared treatment, coupled greater performance solution treatment. And XPS analysis confirms surface. Further, perform micro-flotation tests verify enhanced surface different initial concentrations; improves recovery quartz, moderate concentrations. This study beneficial understanding interfacial intensification particles.
