摘要: Abstract In this paper, a novel macromolecular depressant of hematite, polymaleic anhydride-triethylenetetramine (PMTA) with multiple carboxyl and amine groups, has been synthesized used for cationic reverse flotation separation quartz from hematite. The structure is characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). depression performance adsorption mechanism PMTA onto hematite surface are investigated micro-flotation tests, FT-IR, zeta potential X-ray photoelectron spectra (XPS). results indicate that exhibits good compared to starch. We find 98.29% depressed grade 65.24% at pH 11 12 mg/L dosage. FT-IR spectra, XPS analysis demonstrate may mainly chemisorb on the Fe O bonds, adsorb hydrogen bond interaction. could be in quartz.
