摘要: The division rates of oceanic dinoflagellates in the genus Pyrocystis has been estimated by determining fraction their population which divided each day. For P. noctiluca, mean doubling times were 4 to 15 days at stations Tyrrhenian Sea September, 1970, and 9 19 Sargasso April, 1971. fusiformis, they 7 18 In many cases, different statistically different, but differences could not be explained using available hydrographic data.
