摘要: The continual and increasing use of fossil fuels throughout the world has advanced concerns atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations, causing a swell scientific interest to ease predicted effects global warming. This work experimentally investigates conversion CO2 monoxide (CO) oxygen in an pressure microwave plasma/catalyst system. Diagnostics such as mass spectrometry optical emission spectroscopy are used identify gas species present after plasma treatment measure temperatures. is first treated with alone, then combination rhodium (Rh) catalyst material. While system alone able achieve 20% energy efficiency, Rh actually causes drop efficiency due reverse reactions occurring on surface. temperature measurements indicate thermal equilibrium between Tr Tv around 6000–7000 K.
