摘要: Although IGBT device manufacturers are working hard to provide higher and voltage ratings, presently available devices still do not meet requirement for building common medium power electronic equipment. Direct series connection is the most compact cost effective way of meeting such a requirement. However, existing techniques either too expensive, easily oscillating, lossy or even retarding fast switching advantage. This paper proposes practical approach by combining terminal clamping gate signal delay control. Together they able handle both dynamic steady state operation chain. Experimental results verify approach's effectiveness.
