摘要: Listeria monocytogenes can adhere to different types of food contact surfaces within a processing environment. Therefore, environmental sampling devices should be capable detecting unacceptable contamination. In this study, sponge-stick, foam spatula and an swab were evaluated on their ability detect low concentrations L. surfaces. A cocktail four serotypes was inoculated with concentration 100 CFU/250 cm2 onto stainless steel (SS), high density polyethylene (HDPE) rubber in 250 area. Immediately after inoculation 1 h exposure, the swabbed swabbing devices. The results study show only minor differences monocytogenes. All contamination immediately inoculation. However, when allowed air-dry for h, undetected 11.1% samples (n = 27) sponge stick, 7.4% 3.7% swab, especially SS detection concluded rather
