摘要: A relative deficiency of erythropoietin (EPO) is the most important factor responsible for anaemia end-stage renal failure. Patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis usually maintain a higher haemoglobin concentration than patients other forms dialysis. The precise mechanism uncertain, and there disagreement over role increased EPO production. An 11-year-old boy with failure maintained overnight cycling developed reticulocytosis, followed by marked increase in concentration, shortly after his schedule was altered to include full cavity during daytime. This improvement erythropoiesis closely associated an serum concentration. We suggest that alteration may have resulted enhanced clearance inhibitor production discuss possible mechanisms involved.
