Quick, manual calculation estimates amount of benzene absorbed in glycol dehydrator

摘要: The author outlines a quick, manual calculation technique to estimate the amount of benzene absorbed in glycol contactor. To use this method, some information about quantity aromatics gas stream is required. This was developed by analogy since no empirical data are available literature for benzene-TEG systems at concentrations encountered dehydrators. It is, however, based on valid approach, and should give reasonable results estimation aromatic solubilities systems.
