摘要: Recent developments in environmental regulations on the emissions of aromatic compounds including benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene isomers (BTEX) other volatile organic (VOCs) have made these a major concern natural gas industry. In particular, one sources is glycol dehydration units. During gas, BTEX VOC it are absorbed by solvent, subsequently emitted to atmosphere during thermal regeneration glycol. As result, quantification means reduction ultimately elimination gaining importance This problem requires careful attention design phase. The considerations mentioned above increasingly driving selection operation process alternatives reduce BTEX/VOCs atmosphere. paper focuses unit for onshore oil processing facilities Abu Dhabi operated Company Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO). Firstly, emission levels vented out quantified, description given sampling/measurement technique. Secondly, parameters associated with all equipments unit, i.e. absorber, flash tank, regenerator that may lead BTEX/VOC emissions, optimized. optimization study involves building simulation model based actual data/parameters provided vendor verified operational data.
