摘要: Chlamydia infections are epidemiologically linked to human heart disease. A peptide from the murine muscle-specific alpha myosin heavy chain that has sequence homology 60-kilodalton cysteine-rich outer membrane proteins of pneumoniae, C. psittaci, and trachomatis was shown induce autoimmune inflammatory disease in mice. Injection homologous peptides into mice also induced perivascular inflammation, fibrotic changes, blood vessel occlusion heart, as well triggering T B cell reactivity endogenous peptide. DNA functioned an adjuvant peptide-induced Infection with led production autoantibodies epitopes. Thus, Chlamydia-mediated is by antigenic mimicry a protein.
