摘要: Abstract Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) combining UV-emitting LEDs (UV-LED) with multi-coloured phosphors is one of the main strategies in solid-state lighting, opening new frontiers for design monochromatic sources. Greater relevance found green-emitting able to suppress so-called “green-gap” limitation electroluminescent LEDs. Moreover, applications displays, traffic signals or phototherapy by human circadian rhythm regulation are envisaged. Here, we report phosphor-based coatings lighting UV-LEDs Ba2SiO4:Eu(II) phosphor prepared a suitable and energetic-efficient approach incorporated plastic films (PMMA). This route itself advantageous as it yields high emission quantum yield avoid expensive energetic outlay through classic reactions. The green reveals an intriguing increase (50 ± 5%) after dispersion PMMA. LED prototypes operating at 3.2 V lies within spectral region Commission International D''Eclairage coordinates (0.182; 0.533), luminous efficacy radiation (372 ± 1 lm·W−1) among best values reported, radiant photostability overseen 180 h operation.
