Transparent and luminescent ionogels composed of Eu3+-coordinated ionic liquids and poly(methyl methacrylate)

摘要: : We report here on transparent and luminescent ionogels that consist of ionic ternary europium (III) complexes the inexpensive non-toxic compound, poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) were formed by dissolving these in methacrylate (MMA) monomers followed situ polymerization. The resulting show a bright red emission under near-UV light irradiation. Luminescence data confirm energy transfer from terpyridine-functionalized liquid to Eu3+ ions.
