Possible observation of light neutral bosons in nuclear emulsions.

摘要: Electron-positron pairs apparently resulting from the decay of light intermediate neutral particles emitted in relativistic heavy-ion collisions have been reported by El-Nadi and Badawy. The events, observed nuclear emulsions, are similar to data 35 years ago that caused ..pi../sup 0/ lifetime estimate be wrong almost 2 orders magnitude for about a decade. consistent with production subsequent short-lived bosons masses around 1.1, 2.1, 9 MeV lifetimes order 10/sup -16/--10/sup -15/ s.
