摘要: The degradation of lignin-(1-phenylethylene) graft copolymers (lignin-styrene copolymers) by white rot basidiomycete fungi was followed monitoring aromatic absorption bands Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. FTIR the shows a series characteristic absorbance peaks from multi-substituted rings strong poly(1-phenylethylene) (polystyrene) peak monosubstituted rings. Subtraction copolymer spectra taken before incubation after 50 days with four tested loss functional groups copolymer. NMR also show reduction ring resonances incorporation as result fungi. biodegradation tests were run on which contained 10.3, 32.2, 50.4% lignin. polymer samples incubated fungiPleurotus ostreatus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, andTrametes versicolor, brown fungusGleophyllum trabeum. White degraded plastic at rate that increased increasing lignin content in sample. Both components readily degraded. Observation scanning electron microscopy showed deterioration surface. fungus did not affect any these plastics, nor degrade pure poly(1-phenylethylene).
