Monoclonal antibodies directed against T-cell receptor/CD3 complex and other surface antigens can also provide this stimulus. Gianni Gromo his colleagues are attempting to characterize steps leading from initial activation full functional maturation. They suggest that while numerous pathways exist, particular pathway followed what extent occurs depend on both stimulating ligand its cell receptor.
