摘要: Protection of an inverter dominated microgrid is always a great challenge, as inverters are well known for their insufficient contribution to the fault current, undermining accuracy and viability traditional overcurrent protection schemes. Based on wide review solutions developed in past, this paper proposes novel strategy, with main method based time polarity features initial current travelling waves using mathematical morphology (MM) technology backup strategy rate change current. Simulation tests PSCAD/EMTDC considering different resistances, positions inception angles prove approach be sensitive reliable.
