摘要: Asian Americans are the nation's fastest growing racial group in terms of percentages, and they constitute a very heterogeneous population. The author reviewed literature proposed an agenda to reduce cancer health disparities based on this review accomplishments aspirations National Cancer Institute-funded American Network for Awareness, Research, Training. burden is unique, unusual, and, certain extent, unnecessary. because Asians only racial/ethnic population experience as leading cause death. unusual aspects among include experiencing proportionally more cancers infectious origin, such human papillomavirus-induced cervical cancer, hepatitis B virus-induced liver stomach than any other at same time, increasing numbers associated with "Westernization." To unnecessary if barriers screening, overcoming resistance physician visits, culturally competent interventions smoking, unhealthy diet, proper exercise can be instituted. Reducing will involve research into their burden.
