摘要: When multiple hepatic tumors are present, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between metastatic and multicentric hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). To identify the important clinicopathologic features of HCC, we evaluated clinical characteristics patients with HCC examined usefulness surgical treatment in those patients. A total 99 HCCs were classified into one following two groups according whether their or metastatic: Group MO consisted 18 thought have developed synchronously from origins. IM 64 intrahepatic metastases. In this study 18% presented tumors. This revealed that synchronous often affected segments liver responded relatively well partial hepatectomy individual tumor-affected areas. appropriately treat potentially understand histopathologic diagnose during preoperative intraoperative ultra-sonography, so may be useful.
