摘要: Objective The aims of this study were evaluation the association reduced fetal movements (RFM) and small-for-gestational-age (SGA) birth at term to explore if maternal outcomes are different with single vs repeated episodes RFM normal assessment test results. Study Design This was a retrospective cohort all singleton pregnancies referred for RFMs tertiary medicine unit from January 2008 through September 2014. Ultrasound Doppler indices obtained computerized ultrasound database pregnancy outcome collected hospital records. Results Of 21,944 women booked maternity care during period, 1234 (5.62%) reported >36+0 weeks. these, 1029 (83.4%) episode 205 (16.6%) had ≥2 presentations RFM. Women significantly higher mean uterine artery pulsatility index in second trimester. prevalence SGA baby presenting as compared 9.8% 44.2%, respectively (odds ratio, 7.3; 95% confidence interval, 5.1–10.4; P Conclusion Repeated more likely occur high second-trimester resistance strongly associated infants. should be treated being risk placental dysfunction irrespective results prenatal assessment.
