摘要: Metallic glasses are new materials which present the possibility of preparing catalysts. From this point view authors have been studying catalytic properties glassy palladium alloys. The approach has to employ molecular probe, (+)-apopinene, is sensitive sites differing surface coordination. In study examined a number materials, including splat cooled pure Pd as well both and crystalline Pd-Si Pd-Ge prepared by shock tube hammer-and-anvil techniques using probe (+)-apopinene. Because these produce much lower isomerizations than most catalysts, Pt foil included an example very low isomerization catalyst. These results can be compared those obtained over spectrum supported unsupported catalysts for percentages exposed atoms available. 34 references.
