Results total 25 studies were extracted 12 (n = 317) finally included review. follow-up ranged from 3.5 12 months. had a (patient cure rate) ranging 24% 92%. In prospective (8/12 studies), 35–87%. patients with Crohn’s disease 29–86%. single tracts 44–93% multiple tracts, 20% 71%. abscess formation/sepsis 4–29% (11/108) extrusion 4–41% (42/232–19%). Conclusion Anal has 92% different studies. fistula-in-ano, there moderate As is associated low morbidity sepsis, it appears be safe procedure. Further randomized controlled trials studying objective parameters healing are needed substantiate these findings.
