摘要: Background: Crohn's disease (CD) as one of the major entities chronic inflammatory bowel diseases can affect all segments gastrointestinal tract but occurs most often in small bowel, terminal ileum, colon, and rectum. Typical symptoms include tiredness, lower abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, which are initially treated by conservative measures. Most patients will eventually develop complications such fistulas, abscesses, or strictures. Surgery is unavoidable these cases. Methods: This review considers studies on treatment CD, published from 1979 up to now. The literature regarding course, complications, surgical therapy CD was reviewed. Searches were performed PubMed, using following key words: surgery, immunosuppression, guidelines, malnutrition well appropriate sub-items. In cases limited detailed information specific therapeutic diagnostic topics. Moreover, many designed retrospectively with a number patients. Additionally, our long-standing experience suffering taken into consideration this review. Results: There wide variety indications for surgery includes like strictures, fistulas abscess formation, neoplasia, refractoriness medical therapy. risk developing about 33% after 5 years, 50% 20 years. Furthermore, one-third need within first years diagnosis. requires close cooperation between gastroenterologists surgeons. When indicated, should be ‘conservative' fashion, i.e. possible, order achieve required result avoid syndrome. Conclusion: article provides complete overview CD. typically indicated when occur.
