摘要: Summary Enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) causes diarrhoea in young children. EPEC induces the formation of actin pedestal infected epithelial cells. A type III protein secretion system and several proteins that are secreted by this system, including EspB, involved inducing pedestals. We have demonstrated contact with HeLa cells is associated induction production EspB. Shortly after infection, initiates translocation EspB fused to CyaA reporter (EspB‐CyaA), into host cell. The translocated was distributed between membrane cytoplasm Translocation strongly promoted attachment cell, both factors EPEC, intimin bundle-forming pili, were needed for full efficiency. EspB‐CyaA abolished mutants deficient components sepA sepB mutants. but not an espB mutant. These results indicate required EPEC.
