摘要: Fiber preform permeability has a strong influence on the resin impregna tion behavior during polymer composites fabrication. A straightforward procedure been developed for determining general anisotropic in-plane character of fiber preforms from constant flow rate mold filling experiments. The is based application Darcy's law to two-dimensional situation. From ex perimental data changes in front position and inlet pressure with time, components tensor can be calculated directly using param eters obtained two linear plots. Experimental commercial fabric confirms applicability procedure. required equipment setup analytical proce dure are both uncomplicated nature. proposed method provides simple solution measurement comparison different application.
