摘要: Summary Objective To identify key stakeholders’ views of factors that may enable or limit the use health impact assessment (HIA) in decision-making processes within their organizations. Methods In-depth interviews were carried out with 14 informants from local and regional stakeholder Setting North East England, 2005. Results Three emergent themes identified: leadership HIA; integration HIA existing organizational structures; joint working between Conclusions With exception a ‘leadership vacuum’ had not been described previously, present findings on decision making by organizations region are consistent those reported previously literature.
