摘要: I review literature on juvenile mortality of captive prosimians in order to evaluate the available information breeding. Juvenile includes abortion, premature mortality, stillbirth, and death unweaned young. Prosimian ranges between 25 45% populations. It is generally lower Lemuroidea, particularly Cheirogaleidae, than Lorisoidea. Mortality high Lorisinae. Most including a stillbirth rate, occurs first day during 10 days thereafter. Stress, maternal neglect traumatic insults, not infrequently linked each other, are most frequently reported causes death. The percentage congenital malformations tends be some colonies. Sex infant parity seem important risk factors for whereas litter size does appear important. Based few data, wild- caught females have higher breeding success those born captivity. Synchronized births lemuroids isolated Galagoare more likely result successfully weaned infants.
