Studies on Municipal Solid Waste Management in Mysore City- A case study

摘要: Solid waste management is a worldwide phenomenon. It big challenge all over the world for human beings. The problem of municipal solid (MSWM) also prevailing in urban environment Mysore. Therefore present study was taken to find out problems and prospects Municipal Mysore city. A detailed investigation made regarding methods practices associated with sources, quantity generated, collection, transportation, storage, treatment disposal data concerning SWM obtained through questionnaire, individual field visit, interacting people authentic record corporation. Photographic evidences were about generation, MSW. This reveals that system MSWM city not satisfactory based on Waste (Management & Handling) Rules 2000. (Report Opinion. 2009;1(3):15-21).
