摘要: Background: Allergic rhinitis is one of the most common forms allergic disorders affecting children. The prevalence rate differs among countries and even regions within same country. Objectives: To determine childhood presence significance eosinophilia in nasal secretions. Method: 4584 children aged 11-15 years-old both sexes with were studied. study was done during a four-season period. After physical examination nose, smear taken from secretions it stained. results compared smears related to 340 healthy controls. Results: 445 cases (9.7%) diagnosed as having rhinitis, on basis clinical criteria. Significant present 274 (62%) rhinitis. 226 students (5.8%) Shiraz school had proven or classic Conclusion: major health problems Shiraz. Eosinophilia diagnostic specificity 96% sensitivity 62% seems be moderate value screening test for allergy.
