摘要: The microstructural modification of lithium niobate (LiNbO3) single crystal ablated by an 800 nm femtosecond laser pulse has been investigated. ablation spots have examined means scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force (AFM) and Raman systems. Sub-wavelength in LiNbO3 a focused with 20 × microscope objective (NA = 0.5) achieved. spot size is 400 170 nJ single-pulse 100 nJ 17-pulse ablation, respectively. periodic ripples on the bottom were found, it width 100 nm period roughly 200 nm between troughs. results show that sub-wavelength structures may be formed multiple-photon excitation, innovative tool for manufacturing LiNbO3-based optical devices.
