摘要: A system and method for using Mobility Management (MM) Session (SM) procedures in an SAE/LTE system. The present invention modifies several MM SM that have been defined other 3GPP access systems (such as GERAN, UTRAN) so they meet the requirements of LTE/SAE. While re-uses some existing procedures, it further defines new protocols when accessing by Evolved UTRAN (EUTRAN). With respect to protocols, encoding rules are re-used from a very similar general message format is created. signaling messages, information element definitions each parameter included message.
