摘要: Abstract This paper presents a preform design method which employs an alternative boundary node release criterion in the finite element simulation of backward deformation forging processes. The makes use shape complexity factor provides effective measure difficulty. objective is to die contacting nodes sequence will minimize geometric throughout simulation. done by calculating effect releasing each select group at solution step. particular detached results minimum be released for current process continues step until last few remain contact. demonstrated through simulated integrated blade and rotor turbine disk blank. A developed this compared with empirically designed preform. Performance parameters comparison include fill, flash volume, strain variance, frictional power load. Comparing forward simulations indicates improved performance using FEM based over that empirical design.
