摘要: There has been much recent progress in extending Griffith’s criterion for crack growth into mathematical models quasi-static evolution that are well-posed, the sense there exist solutions can be numerically approximated. However, toward dynamic fracture (crack consistent with criterion, together elastodynamics) more meager. We describe some results on a phase-field model of fracture, and introduce “sharp interface” fracture.
